I’d just like to add a bit of information:

If you’re short of food for your feeding schedule and amount of time, you will be billed the difference. So, if you have two full gallons of milk (16 servings each) and you leave your cat at the hotel for two weeks and three days with a feeding schedule of once a day, you’ll be charged 1/16 of the cost of a gallon of milk.

Similarly, the hotel will only take as much food as your feeding schedule requires. If you leave your cat at the hotel for a week with a feeding schedule of twice a day and you have one full gallon of milk, you will be charged 7/8 of a gallon of milk and 1750 cat cash.
